Music plays an important part of the life of Plymouth Church, as we feel it helps us to experience and embody God’s good news for our world. We are blessed with two superb musicians, Lyle Anderson, organist, and Leah Kang, pianist. The Chancel Choir, Plymouth’s adult choir, offering new and old favorites, has been led by Marleen Lippert for the past half century. Barbara Hoffman leads our informal Children’s Choir in song during worship services on a regular basis.
On occasion, the Plymouth Recorder Ensemble under the direction of Dan Hacker graces our sanctuary with special offerings And often–especially during the summer months–individuals and groups provide special music during our worship services.
All are welcome to participate in the music ministry at Plymouth.
